Hi everyone,
Today I am showing off one of my favourite stamps from the Occasion Catalgoue - Birthday Wit stamp set! I love the sayings in this set! This card also features a couple fun techniques.
The first technique is the background which I created with the Stampin' Write Markers and the Watercolor Wash Stamp. It's really easy to accomplish - colour on the stamp directly with your colour choice of markers. After you have coloured the entire stamp, use your "hot breath" (that is the only way I can describe it lol) and blow on the stamp. This will make sure that the stamp is still moist enough to stamp on to the cardstock.
The second technique has to do with the actual sentiment. I first stamped the saying in Dapper Denim ink. On a separate piece of card stock, I stamped the sentiment again in 3 different colours. After stamping, I cut out each line and then glued them over the Dapper Demin ink using dimensionals.
I absolutely love this card and the colour combinations!
Can you believe that there is only one more day left of Sale-A-Bration?!?! The past 3 months have gone by incredibly fast! I am very sad to see all of these products disappear :(
There is still time to order from the Annual and Occasions catalogues though! There is still 2 full months left of those until they retire.
