Painted Harvest Suite of Products

Hello friends!!

Today I am showing off the beautiful Painted Harvest suite of products from the new Holiday Catalogue that launches next week!!! Are you all excited for the launch of the holiday catalogue?! I know I am!!

These cards are going to be the ones that we will make on Sept 10th (check out my Local Events page for more information on this class!). If you would like to come make these cards, RSVP by Sept 1st!

This first card features the DSP - the sunflowers are cut out from the paper. Other than the sentiment, there is no other stamping on this card!

Card number two has the most amount of stamping out of all 3! This is probably my favourite card of the three. It was so much fun! The card also features leaves that were punched out using the new leaf punch! :)

Card number three also features more of the DSP - the pumpkins and the acorns are cut out from the paper. This card was also the first time that I stamped using the Cajun Craze ink colour and I think I fell in love with it!

There is only 2 weeks left to take advantage of the Paper Pumpkin deal!

If you have never heard of a Paper Pumpkin, here is a little snippet about what it is all about:

August Paper Pumpkin Kit

Good afternoon everyone!!

Did you all catch the Solar Eclipse on Monday?! I got to see two phases of it! Someone that works in my building just so happened to have a welding helmet so I was able to see the eclipse through that. It was very cool!!

I cannot believe that August is almost over!! But that means it is time to share this month's Paper Pumpkin kit!! This month's kit included gift tags, supplies to make 8 cards and then a little gift box to hold it all!

I am in love with this colour combination - Calypso Coral, Garden Green, Old Olive, Peekaboo Peach and Pool Party.

On the front of the instruction booklet it, it shows that one of the cards says "With much sympathy". You do not have to make cards with that sentiment. There are enough Thanks and Congrats tags to make the 8 cards. Or if you want something else, just go through your collection of stamps and see if there is a greeting that would fit on the blank tags that come in the kit - that's what I did!

I went through my collection and found that the Happy Birthday sentiment from the stamp set Birthday Delivery worked perfectly!

I made three Thanks, three Congrats, and then two Happy Birthday.

There were so many extra pieces left over, that I decorated the envelopes and the inside of the cards.

Also, can I just say how amazing these pictures turned out?! I switched from my iPhone over to Samsung S8 and the difference in the camera quality is insane! These pictures have absolutely no filters - they have only been cropped a bit.

Remember you have until Sept 10th to get your first month of Paper Pumpkin for 50% off!!!!

If you sign up for Paper Pumpkin, you can come over for an afternoon and put together a kit for free!! If you do not sign up, you can still come over but the cost is $15.

There is also the Carols of Christmas Preorder you can take part in! There are so many different creations you can make with the stamp set and the coordinating framelits. I have seen cards made with the framelits that are not Christmasy at all!

Foil Frenzy Suite of Products

Hey everyone,
Hope you had a wonderful weekend! My weekend was very sad as we had to bring my parents to the airport so they could head back home. It was a good visit but my son is very upset but he gets to see them soon in October! We are trying to teach him days of the week so we can do countdowns but he doesn't really understand yet.

Today I am back with another suite of products out of the Annual Catalogue - the Foil Frenzy suite located on pages 76-77 of the catalogue.

This first card also has more embossing! I was on roll creating cards that used embossing - it's so much fun!!

I saw an example of a wreath made using these stamps and tried to recreate it. There is no coordinating thinlits for this stamp set, so all those flowers and leaves were cut out using scissors! My hand was very sore after cutting them all out!

I had a scrap piece of the Foil Frenzy DSP that was cut on an angle and I knew I had to create a card with it. I played around with different variations and finally came up with this below.

To get the effect for the Happy Birthday, just cut out it out twice through the Big Shot and then stagger them when gluing them down.

I had a hard time trying to figure out what to put beside Happy Birthday and I tried to create a balloon bouquet. I attached pieces of baker's twine to all five balloons then took another piece and tied a bow around all them.

The Happy Birthday thinlit die is a must have! It makes such a statement on a card you don't need to add a lot cards!

Don't forget - sign up for your first month of Paper Pumpkin for 50% off the original price!!
