Wish Big Brusho Card

Hey everyone!
Hope you all had a wonderful weekend! We had gorgeous weather here in Calgary which was perfect since it was the first weekend of Stampede! We went on Saturday and spent over 6 hours there! I love going there and seeing my son experience new things each year we go (he is 4 years old and this was his 4th year going!). This year he made it on to his first kid ride!

I have another fairly simple looking card today but it has a couple different techniques on it. The first technique I did on this card was embossing the Wish Big image with white emboss powder. I then took my Aqua Painter and water washed the background and then sprinkled on the blue Brusho crystals.

This was the second attempt for this card. The first time I had used the brand new black emboss powder but it was too dark to be used with the blue brusho crystals so I redid it with the white powder.

If you look closely at the stamped image, you can see a bit of sparkle inside the letters. I took the Wink of Stella brush and put some sparkles to make the letters stand out a bit more.

It's a very simple card that can be created with so many other colour combinations!

I have listed all of the supplies needed to create these cards and you can include all of them in your Starter Kit when you sign up to become a demonstrator! And you will also get to choose a colour family of 10 ink pads to receive for FREE when you sign up! How exciting is that?!

Click HERE to sign up and receive your 10 free ink pads! You will also receive a special gift from myself just for joining.

You also want to take advantage of the Designer Series Paper sale! Buy 3 and get your fourth for FREE!

That's all I have for today! I am going to try to have one more post before I leave on vacation.

Simple Broadway Bound Card

Happy Friday everyone!
It has been a long week and I am so glad it is the weekend! We are officially in the single digits for countdown to our vacation!

Today's card is a very simple and easy card to make and can be stepped up to add even more wow factor. I was commissioned to make a birthday card for a male and I had the hardest time trying to come up with something. First I looked through colour combinations and looked for something more manly. I then looked for a stamp set that does not look girly and I thought the Broadway Bound set would work perfectly.

This is the result!

I thought the coloured cardstock was still a little plain looking so I just took two different stamps from the stamp set and created backgrounds and I created my own DSP! It's such a simple technique and can add punch to simple cards.

This card was very hard for me to leave simple as I wanted to add so much more to it. I asked my husbands opinion and he said to just leave as is lol!

To amp up a card, it can be as simple as adding coordinating Designer Series Paper. The coordinating Broadway Bound is a part of the DSP sale and a perfect time to stock up on other designs as well, like my favourite one, Tropical Escape!

Or you can sign up to become a demonstrator for $135 and then when you place your first order, you can get an even further discount on the DSP!

There are so many exciting promotions to take advantage of right now! You do not want to miss out!

That's all for today! Check back on Monday for another fun card featuring Brusho! I am in love with this stuff and love creating projects with it.

Tropical Chic Suite of Products

Hi everyone!
Hope you all enjoyed your long weekend! We had a crazy, busy, long day on Saturday but the rest of the weekend was nice a relaxing.

I did a little bit of creating but not as much as I would've liked. I was cleaning up my craft stuff and decided to work on my Christmas 2016 album which is now done! I also finished creating these cards which I just love. As soon as I saw this bundle in the catalogue, I knew it would be perfect to use for scrapbooking our first family vacation to Cuba.

It is also perfect timing, because I can stock up on the Designer Series Paper which is currently on special for the month of July!

I love the colour combination with all of the greens and then a pop of pink!

Remember, there are two amazing promotions happening during the month of July:

1. Buy 3 Get 1 FREE Designer Series Paper products!!

2. Sign up to become a Stampin' Up Demonstrator and you get to choose one colour family of 10 ink pads for FREE!!

There is a third promotion happening that is just for demonstrators so you will want to sign up to take advantage of that one as well - you can add the products to your starter kit! (customers will be able to order this promotion in August)

July is such an exciting time to be a demonstrator! I love being a part of the Stampin' Up! family!

Another benefit, when you sign up, you will have the opportunity to register to go to the OnStage event in Orlando that is happening in November! Stampin' Up! spoils their demonstrators so much during these events and it will be in Orlando so you could turn it into a family vacation!

Check out my website to see even more benefits to becoming a demonstrator.

That is all I have for today but be sure to check out the Current Promotions and Local Events tabs at the top to see what is happening!
