Broadway Bound!

Hi everyone,
Hope you are all staying cool if you are in the Calgary area! We are having a crazy hot heat wave here and it is possibly going to reach 37 degrees!

Today's card is fun and has a few fun techniques on it! I love this suite of products and how bright the colours are.

The first technique I did on this card was use the shimmery white embossing paste for the background but I mixed in a few drops of the Lemon Lime Twist ink refill.

The second technique on this card was on the word "wish" I used the brand new in colours embossing powder.

There is a sheet of the coordinating DSP that has party hats on it which just so happen to have a coordinating framelit! My son actually helped me out with which party hats that we should add to the card.

Before I had everything glued down, the card was still missing some elements, so I added in the gold sequin and the gold metallic thread.

I used the Triple Banner punch on the cardstock and DSP to add another touch to the card.

I wish you could see how shimmery the embossing paste is!

I have been in a creating rut recently so I am lacking in showing you guys projects. I did create a fun fold card last night but not sure it is finished yet.

In the meantime, remember there are so many promotions!

July 2018 Paper Pumpkin Picnic Paradise

Happy Friday everyone!!
Hope you all had a wonderful week!

I am really late posting July's Paper Pumpkin but that was because I was away at the time the kit was suppose to be delivered but I had to delay delivery til I was back in the country. As soon as it was delivered, I put the kit together that night! I have so many plans for the little baskets - I am definitely going to give the one with the apple on it to my son's school teacher and the two assistants to welcome them back. I have ideas for the other 3 baskets, but not sure who I'm giving them to yet.

I look forward to getting the little red box delivered every month!

Check out the video to see the kit in action:

#TGIFC170 - Repeat After Me Challenge!

Hi everyone!
I hope you all had an enjoyable weekend and were able to get a lot of creating done!

We had a very adulting weekend lol! We bought a new dryer that matches the new washer we got a week ago and was delivered on Saturday morning. And then in the afternoon, my husband had to borrow a pick up truck from a friend and then went to pick up the flooring we had bought which we will start to install when my parents arrive in August. We are on fast track to leave our condo and get in to our house next year!

Today, I am doing something I have not done before! I am taking part in a challenge! I follow the TGIF Challenge blog and when I saw the challenge for this week, I knew I wanted to take part!

I knew I wanted to use the brand new In Colour Embossing Powders on the card. I then went through my current stamp sets and settled on one I haven't created with for a while. The result turned out to be this card (which was not my first attempt!):

I keep checking back on the blog to see what everyone has been creating for this challenge and I am loving them all!

That is all I have for today!

Hanging Garden Stamp Set

Happy Friday everyone!!
It has been a long week trying to get back into our routine and thankfully it is finally the weekend! And now it is going to be a busy weekend as we just purchased a new dryer which is being delivered sometime on Saturday; we also have to pick up all the flooring we just purchased the other night because our SUV cannot handle the weight so we have to borrow a friends truck.

I am going to keep today's post short and sweet! I have had this stamp set for a while now and finally just pulled it out to play with it. So much colouring! I used the Stampin' Write Markers to colour in the baskets.

I don't have all of the available colours in these markers so I just worked with what I have and I do love how they turned out! I did realize that I need more green markers, I had to use a Stampin' Blend marker to help out with the succulent basket.

These cards are so simple to create and the stamp set comes with a variety of sentiments, perfect for any occasion.

Remember to check out the Promotions page to see all the current specials happening right now!

Starting Aug 1, you will be able to purchase these products!

Only a few more days to take advantage of this one!

This is probably the BEST promotion that Stampin' Up! has ever done!

You have until Aug 10 to sign up!

That's all for today!

Colour Your Season and So Many Promotions!!

Hi everyone!
I am back from our first family vacation to Cuba! It definitely had its ups and downs but we still had fun! It was hard adjusting to the weather because it is not humid where we live but being surrounded by pools and the ocean made up for it.

We are definitely missing this view though! The water was the perfect temperature and I cannot get over how clear the water was.

Today I have 3 cards to show you featuring BRAND NEW products that you will be able to order August 1! There is a brand new stamp set, framelits and watercolour pencils!

I CASE'd the cards in the flyer that Stampin' Up! created but tweaked them using products that I had on hand. I made sure to feature the watercolour pencils on two of the cards and two new colours of the blends on the 3rd card.

I didn't have any current Christmas DSP to feature on this card, so I took a new embossing folder to give the cardstock some punch.

This fall card I used the brand new Subtle embossing folder and this is definitely a must have! It adds just enough detail to make your cards stand out.

The gray DSP is from the Petal Promenade suite of products. I used two new blends colours - Highland Heather and Call Me Clover for the flower and leaves.

I love how this stamp set caters to all of the seasons and is perfect for any occasion!

So starting August 1st, customers will be able to purchase these products. Or if you are a demonstrator, you can purchase NOW!

Speaking of being a demonstrator, there are only a few more days to sign up and receive 10 ink pads for FREE!! This is an amazing promotion you do not want to miss out on!

And there are only a few more days to receive a fourth pack of DSP when you purchase 3 others!

One more current promotion is for Paper Pumpkin!

There are so many amazing promotions happening right now, it is an amazing time to be a customer and a demonstrator!

So many promotions, so little time!

That's all I have for today!
