Watercolor Pencil Technique!

Good afternoon everyone!

Today I am back with a really fun technique using the watercolor pencils!

It is such a simple technique and so much fun to create!

To create the background on this card, pick out any colours you would like to use. Take your aqua painter and push gently to release some water onto the brush. Hold the pencil tip and the aqua painter tips together so the water gets on the pencil. Once the pencil is wet, start flicking the aqua painter onto the cardstock and you will get splatter look! It is so simple!

This is the second card we will be making at the card class on June 24th! RSVP if you would like to come over for an afternoon of crafting!

Tranquil Tulips Host Stamp Set

Good morning everyone!

As soon as I saw the cards that people were creating with this stamp set, I knew I had to have it!
For my first couple cards using this stamp, I wanted to keep the cards fairly simply. And I definitely achieved that with them.

I am going to keep experimenting with this card and see what else I can come up with and maybe make them a little bit more difficult.

After taking the pictures of the cards, I realized I should have cut the ends of the bow shorter but was too lazy to retake the photos 😋

To create the two tone effect for the flowers, I first stamped in the lighter colour (Powder Pink and Berry Burst) and then I stamped the darker colours on top (Blushing Bride and Fresh Fig).

The Thank you card will be one of the cards we will do at my Card Class on June 24th.

Also, if you want to purchase this card, you have to be a host for a class. If you wish to be the host for the class on June 24th (or any day in June), contact me today and we can set that up.

Remember, the extra host rewards you can earn is only on til June 30th!

Whole Lot of Lovely Suite

 Hello everyone,
Today I am showing some cards made with the Whole Lot of Lovely suite of products!

Here is most of the products from this suite that I purchased on catalogue launch day! I had cut up the cardstock before I took this picture - I have a storage system set up for all my paper and I have to cut up 12x12 paper in order for it to fit.

As soon as I saw this suite in the catalogue, I knew I had to get it! I love the colours and everything about this set!

I have only made two cards so far with this suite but plan on making way more!

The first card I made was fairly simple, lots of stamping in different colours. The hardest part for this card was actually tying that bow!

The second card has a few more elements then the simple card above. I used the textured embossing folder to create the background. Then I fussy cut out the peaches. This card was fun to put together as I don't normally make difficult cards but I wanted to play with so many different elements it all came together!

Well there are my cards for today! Come back on Monday where I will have a couple more cards using a stamp set you can only purchase if you are a host!

Showcasing The New 2017-2019 In Colors

Hey everyone,
Today I will be showing off the brand new 2017-2019 In Colors!

2017-2019 In Colors

These cards were so simple to put together, these are perfect for beginner stampers!

Tranquil Tide

To create this look, I first stamped Happy Birthday in Basic Black ink on 5 pieces of Very Vanilla cardstock.

Fresh Fig

Then I took the party hat stamp and stamped that 5 times on each piece of cardstock in each of the 5 new colours.

Lemon Lime Twist

Then I took the stars and did the same thing, stamped it a few times in each of the 5 colours.

Berry Burst

Then I added a little embellishment with the brand new Bitty Bows. These are amazing and they even have adhesive already on them!!  That way you do not have to worry about what type of glue to use.

Powder Pink

Come back tomorrow for more brand new product from the new annual catalogue!

In the meantime, check out the Local Events page for 2 classes I have just added!! I will have examples of the cards coming very soon!
