Stampin' Up! Demonstrator Holiday Card Swap!

Hey everyone,
Today I am going to show you the cards I have created for a swap I am doing with some other Canadian demonstrators!

A swap is exactly how it sounds - I create so many of one card and send to a specific person. That person than sorts all of the cards and then mails them back to everyone that took part in the swap.

For example, for one of the cards we had to create a seasonal card other than Christmas. There are 5 of us in the group. We are all to make 5 copies of a card plus one for the person hosting the swap so 6 cards in total. We will then get 5 cards mailed back to us - one card from each person in the group.

Here is the first card I created to showcase the Merry Music DSP.

The second card I created was to show off the stamp set Merry Mistletoe from the Annual Catalogue.

The third card was to feature the Snowflake Sentiment stamp set. This was my favourite card to create but also took the longest to put together!

The fourth card I created was for a group featuring non Christmas cards.

The last card I created was to feature embossing paste.

I am in love with all of the cards I created!! I may just have to make even more to sell at the Christmas markets!

From Sept 1 to Oct 31, if you host a party and your sales are over $375 you will earn this limited edition stamp set!!

PS. If you would like the product list for any of the cards I created, leave a comment! There are so many products I used for all of the cards I did not want to clog up the page.

Some Non-Holiday Cards!

Hello everyone,
It has been a very busy week! It was my son's first day of preschool on Tuesday so I had taken the day off work to take him. He was very excited and could not wait to get there, but when it came time for me to drop him off that was when the waterworks started. It was hard to leave him there crying but it turned out fine and he said he had fun at school.

Today I am back with some non-holiday cards! I had to take a break from the holiday's for a bit. I had been creating cards for a swap I am taking part in and that was a lot of work!

I created 4 cards using the Pieces and Patterns suite of products located in the Annual Catalogue. The DSP and stamp have been sitting unused so I decided it was finally time to use them!

All of the cards I made have the same layout but all look different!

This dinosaur card has to be my favourite - so simple!

This next card, the DSP I used for it has to be my favourite from the packet!

The third card was used with some scraps of DSP I had from cutting down the other ones used in the cards. For the background, I took the flower stamp and stamped in the same colour as the cardstock.

Now for the fourth card, the DSP is from the Pieces and Patterns suite but the stamps used are not. They are part of the Crafting Forever stamp set and I thought they matched with the paper perfectly!!

There are two embellishments I used on these cards that were on the clearance rack but are now gone (the Emerald Envy Ribbon and the 2016-2018 Enamel Dots)!

Don't forget! There are only a few more days to take advantage of this awesome sale!!!

From Sept 1 to Oct 31, when you host a party and receive more than $375 in sales, you will earn a limited edition stamp set! It is so cute, I want it!!

You may also want to sign up to receive my newsletter as there may just be a special offer in there just for my subscribers ;)

Well that's all I have for today!

Sneak Peek at Holiday Catalogue Products!!

Hey everyone,
Today I am back to show off a few brand new products out of the Holiday Catalogue that goes live tomorrow!!!

It's all soo shiny! I love it all! There is also embossing on all of the cards and the gift box.

The main focus for these cards was the Year of Cheer DSP. Each card and the one gift box uses a different pattern for each. There are 4 patterns and you receive 3 sheets of each of them in the package. I then used the Snowflake Sentiment bundle for the sentiments and accents.

Year of Cheer Suite of Products
Swirly Snowflakes Thinlits Dies

Here are all the projects I made using brand new product.

This first card, I used copper embossing powder for the sentiment. The snowflake is silver and the strip of foil paper is a brand new colour, Champage. It is hard to get a really good picture of it but it is gorgeous in person!

Card two features all silver! Silver is my favourite metallic colour!

Card three is silver and gold together.

Now for the mini pizza box! These are lined so it is safe to put any type of food inside them but they are also perfect to put tiny gifts. You can also make 3x3 cards to fit inside as there is coordinating 3x3 envelopes in the new catalogue too!

The twine I used to wrap the box is also brand new!!

So many new products! Not enough time to create projects with it all!!

Painted Harvest Suite of Products

Hello friends!!

Today I am showing off the beautiful Painted Harvest suite of products from the new Holiday Catalogue that launches next week!!! Are you all excited for the launch of the holiday catalogue?! I know I am!!

These cards are going to be the ones that we will make on Sept 10th (check out my Local Events page for more information on this class!). If you would like to come make these cards, RSVP by Sept 1st!

This first card features the DSP - the sunflowers are cut out from the paper. Other than the sentiment, there is no other stamping on this card!

Card number two has the most amount of stamping out of all 3! This is probably my favourite card of the three. It was so much fun! The card also features leaves that were punched out using the new leaf punch! :)

Card number three also features more of the DSP - the pumpkins and the acorns are cut out from the paper. This card was also the first time that I stamped using the Cajun Craze ink colour and I think I fell in love with it!
