OnStage Local Red Deer Swap Cards!

Hi everyone!
Hope you all had a wonderful weekend! I went to Onstage Local in Red Deer on Saturday! I will have another separate post all about that but I wanted to share the cards I created to swap with other fellow demonstrators!

There is a lot involved in the creation of these cards - embossing powder, embossing folders and the Stampin' Blends. But look at the end result - I love how they turned out!!!

When I was deciding on the type of card I was going to make, I knew I was going to use the Beautiful Day stamp set and that I wanted to emboss the images. I first tried embossing with the white powder but I didn't like it when I coloured in the images. So I then tried the silver emboss powder and I just loved the look it created. To me the butterfly card looks like it has a stained glass effect. I had an image in my head using the purple and pink markers but then wanted to add another colour and I love how it looks with the blue.

When I was starting to assemble the cards, I noticed they were missing something. While I was at my full time job, I somehow came up with the idea of adding a strip of silver foil and that was exactly the look I was going for!

At the end of this post, I will have the supply list for all of the products I used on these cards.

Unfortunately, the Stampin' Blends markers are currently on Non-Orderable status but if you already have them, then wonderful!
