Scrapbook Page Featuring Brand New Products!

Hi everyone!
Today is the last day that you can purchase from both the 2018 Occasions Catalogue and the 2017-2018 Annual Catalogue! I am sad to see a lot of my favourites will be retiring but I am even more happy to get brand new products!!

Today's project showcases carrying over product from the Occasions catalogue as well as brand new products. 

I wanted to dedicate a whole page for my son's school picture - it is just so adorable! 

I CASE'd (Copy And Share Everything) this scrapbook page layout from a fellow demonstrator. She shared her project in the Demonstrator Facebook page and I knew that the layout would work perfectly for the picture I wanted to use. So I have to give her credit! :)


The gorgeous Designer Series Paper I used in this layout is part of the Share What You Love Suite of products. You can't see it in the picture, but this paper has a pearlized effect on it which makes it shimmer. 

Unfortunately, today is also the last day that you can purchase one of the bundles. The products (except the Statement of Our Heart stamp set) will be available in the catalogue, but you cannot purchase them all in a bundle and receive free items. So hurry up and purchase a bundle today! You have until 11:50pm MST time to order!

Brand New Accented Blooms Stamp Set!!

Hi everyone!!
Hope you are all enjoying your week! It's cold here in Calgary which is a big change from the weekend when it was reaching the 30s! 

I've been having fun the last few days playing with new products! For today's post I have created two completely different cards using the same stamp set Accented Blooms from the new Annual Catalogue! The first card I created for a customer! I am in love with the copper embossing and how shiny it is! There are only 3 more sleeps til the new catalogue goes live on June 1st! 





The second card features 2 brand new colours! I saw these two inks on my ink caddy and thought that they would make a great combination. This card is also a lot simpler to create than the first one. 





I am just in love with this stamp set and cannot wait to play around with it some more!

Retiring Birthday Blooms Stamp Set

Hi everyone,
IT'S FRIDAY!! Also mine and my husband's 5 year wedding anniversary! This week just flew by but that probably has to do with being a short week to begin with! 

Today's post is to show off another stamp set that is retiring and this one is my favourite for practicing colouring techniques. Unfortunately, the Stampin' Blends are unavailable for purchase and will not be available til the middle of June. I still wanted to show you the card I created even though there are elements on it that are not available for purchase. At the bottom of this post I have a list of supplies that are still available. 


I love this colour combination of Calypso Coral and Old Olive. This card started with the stamp set and then I chose the two colours from the markers I have. After I coloured in the flower, I started going through my craft supplies to see what I could put together. Unfortunately, the Designer Series Paper in the background has retired and no longer available, same with the doilie on the left side of the card.

Retiring Rose Wonder Stamp Set

Hi everyone!
There is only one week left before the retiring products are gone forever!! The stamp set that I used for the card below, I purchased right before we found out what products were being retired so I was very sad to learn this was going. This is definitely one stamp set though that I am going to keep in my stash because of the sentiments!


I am in love with this colour combo! A perk of being a demonstrator is the resources that the Stampin' Up! team share with everyone. Last year they provided us with a colour combination sheet for the 2017-2019 In Colours. I pulled that sheet out and this combo jumped out at me! The colours are Berry Burst, Bermuda Bay and Old Olive.



The ribbon on this card is also retiring which makes me sad as I have been using it on a lot of cards recently.


This stamp set is also amazing for providing sentiments that have coordinate so they are perfect to put one on the outside of the card and one on the inside!

May 2018 Paper Pumpkin Kit - Manly Moments

Hi everyone,
Hope you all enjoyed the nice long weekend we just had! We couldn't have asked for better weather on all 3 days! We definitely tried to take advantage and be outside as much as possible. If you ever have the chance, check out the Calgary Philharmonic! I bought tickets for the 3 of us to see them play the Harry Potter and Philospher's Stone movie score and watch the movie at the same time! It was an amazing experience and cannot wait to get tickets to see them again in February 2019 when they do the score for Chamber of Secrets. 

Anyways, on to today's post! Mother's Day has come and gone so now it is time to get ready for Father's Day! If you have a hard time creating cards for the men in your life, this kit is perfect for you! I know I personally have a hard time with more masculine looking cards, so I was very happy to have these cards in my stash now. I even just used one of mountain cards for my father-in-laws birthday this past weekend. 

My husband and I will be celebrating our 5 year wedding anniversary on this Friday so I made sure to have an anniversary card created to give to him. 



  
 I love how the envelopes coordinate with the cards!
