Hi everyone!
Hope you are all having a good week! Today I am here to show you two cards I have created with the brand new hostess stamp set that will be in the new annual catalogue. As soon as I saw an example with the girl carrying the stack of books, I knew right away I had to have this stamp set. When I am not at my desk creating cards, you can find me curled up on the couch with a book. This stamp set is just totally me and I love it!
There are two ways you can receive this stamp set - placing an order over $200 on my online store or by hosting a party with your friends!

These cards are very quick and simple cards - the longest part was the colouring. For these samples I coloured first with the watercolor pencil crayons and then went over with the blender pens. I am going to make other samples and try different colouring mediums. I first tired watercolouring the balloons but it turned into a hot mess so I changed to the blender pens and it turned out so much better.
On the balloon card, the sequins are retiring so you better get them before they sell out!!! The best thing about these is that they already have adhesive on them so you just have to peel and stick on to your project!
Look how cute she is with the stack of books!!
For this card, I created my own background by taking the flower stamp from the same stamp set and just stamped it all over in the same ink colour as the paper. This is a really easy technique and you can create so many different backgrounds.
Guys, I am so incredibly excited for you to see the brand new annual catalogue! As a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator, I was able to place an order today of items from the catalogue. This is one of the best perks of being a demonstrator!
Leave a comment on this post if you would like a catalogue!
I am going to take a break from posting new product and show off some items that will be gone May 31st. Come back Friday to see some cards made using the Myths and Magic suite from the Occasions catalogue.
Talk soon,
Fallon
